The Board of Education would like to share the following message with our LSR7 families, staff and community. 

The Lee’s Summit R-7 Board of Education met in a closed session on June 3, 2019. The Board resolved to enter into a mediation with Superintendent Dennis Carpenter for the purpose of addressing and improving the relationship between the Board, the Superintendent, and staff of the school district. Dr. Carpenter has accepted the Board’s invitation to engage in this process.

The Board and Dr. Carpenter intend to schedule the mediation as soon as possible. The Board and Dr. Carpenter appreciate the community’s patience while they work through this process.
