In the past year I have gotten to know Lance Dillenschneider as man of character, who has shown time and again that he is willing to step up and work for what he believes in. While many of us are guilty of griping over the back fence, or on social media, about the rising property taxes, rising crime, and rampant cronyism that characterizes business as usual in Jackson County, Lance has stepped up to try to be part of the solution.

Lance is a business owner, not a politician. While the ‘not a politician’ does not always resonate with me – we do need people who need to know how to get things done – his serving 6 years on the Jackson County Board of Equalization made him realize that the property tax system is broken, and in serious need of reform. So he knows how to get things done.

I believe that Lance will work diligently to reduce taxes, ensure responsible spending, work on crime reduction and support local businesses. Running a race in an at-large district, which means having to cover the entirety of Jackson County, is no small task. Lance has shown tireless efforts at talking to as many people as possible – through group meetings, festival booths, town halls, and going out knocking on doors with his team of supporters. As a member of his team of supporters, I ask that you please vote for Lance Dillenschneider for Jackson County Legislator in the 3rd District at Large on November 8!
