Natasha Bertz and Mary Rasmussen, Lee’s Summit, and Kennedy Noland, Greenwood, received scholarships at the College of Education Scholarship and Awards Reception at the University of Central Missouri on May 2.

Bertz is the daughter of Stephanie and Lyle Bertz, Lee’s Summit, and was awarded the Laura L. Baker Barr Scholarship. She is a junior elementary education major and a 2017 graduate of Lee’s Summit North High School.

Rasmussen, daughter of Tracy Graham, Lee’s Summit, and Paul Rasmussen, Gilbertsville, Ky., is a junior elementary education major and was awarded the D. Maude Wright Scholarship. She is a 2016 graduate of Lee’s Summit West High School.

Noland, daughter of Jessie Noland, Greenwood, was awarded the Edward J. and Frances Allen Cleary Scholarship. She is a junior special education major and a 2017 graduate of Lee’s Summit West High School.
