Belton at  Lee’s Summit (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
     The Tigers home opener can’t come soon enough as fans, friends and many others can’t wait to see the Tigers tame the Belton Pirates. All this excitement is due to the Tigers big season opening win 43-19 last week. Expect the Pirates to score some points too on Fridaynight but not enough to take care of the Tigers as they improve to 2-0 on the young season.
Lee’s Summit North at  St. Joe Central 
      All you need to know about this one is the Broncos scored 40 points last week, Central gave up 41 points. The Broncos want a winning season and this week’s game is a simple “Taking Care of Business” road trip. Broncos cruise their way to a 2-0 mark in this one.
Lee’s Summit West  at  Fort Osage (Pub Pick of the week)
     No doubt a BIG game for both teams in this one. The Titans scored 34 points a week ago to win while the Indians scored 35 to get a win on a season opening weekend. The Titans defense forced 3 huge 1st half turnovers to win last week while the Indians feature a highly touted QB headed to Missouri State. The Titans will play well enough to earn a hard fought road game on this night.
Bishop Ward  at  Summit Christian
    The Eagles enter this one off from a convincing win over St. Michael last week. The Cyclones are in Kansas which starts their season this week. The Eagles have the advantage of playing at home and having already played a game. The Cyclones will push the Eagles but SCA wins to go to 2-0.
St. Pius X  at  St. Michael 
      St. Michael has yet to  win a game in their young program now in it’s second year. This week is a good time for them get a W against a Warriors team yet to score in 2018. This game is played at LS North so expect a good crowd and a good game but a familiar result for St. Michael who falls to 0-2.
Blue Springs  at  Rockhurst (Wild Card game of the week)
    In one of the most anticipated match ups in the metro area each season this battle between the Wildcats & Hawklets will be will be wildly entertaining. Blue Springs enters 1-0 with a lot of momentum while Rockhurst is playing this week at 0-1. After the dust settles it’s Blue Springs who wins and sits at 2-0.
