The Lee’s Summit QuikTrip store at 1001 SE Blue Parkway in Lee’s Summit is an award-winning QuikTrip after being named the “Best of the Best” in the Kansas City Division. QuikTrip has 84 stores in the division and Store #183 was named the best following an extensive grading system.
QuikTrip Corporation uses mystery shoppers to go into QT Stores to grade them on customer service, store cleanliness, merchandising dated properly and more. Grading of local stores is done on an annual basis in each division of QuikTrip.
QT spokesman Mike Thornbrough commented on the staff and store here in Lee’s Summit. “They make it look easy.” “Execute flawless on a day to day basis.” Thornbrough adds, “They constantly stay ahead of everything and do it really well.”
Mike Radcliffe, store manager, is happy about the award stating, “I am ecstatic about the award.” “It’s proof that hard work pays off.”
Mike and four of his employees get a trip to Hawaii as a thank you from QuikTrip.
Radcliffe admits, “I had a great staff last year.”
The store has six full-time employees with almost 20 associates overall. A nearly four foot tall Best of the Best award in a glass case is on display at the checkout counter of the store.
