Blue Springs at Ray-Pec (Wild Card game of the week)
Both teams enter at 3-2 and statistics show how even this match up is. The Panthers are at home but it will be the increasingly hot Wildcats who walk away with a win from this game.
Drexel at St. Michael
The Guardians have won two in a row after starting the season with three straight losses. Both wins came on the road for St. Michael. Expect the good times to continue as the Guardians get a home win in a game played at LS North.
Lee’s Summit at St. Joe Central (Pub Pick of the week)
The Tigers overcame homecoming distractions and a power outage last week to return to the victory column. Now it’s a road trip to the north against an unfamiliar opponent. Look for the Tigers to tame St. Joe Central to improve to 4-2.
Lee’s Summit West at Lee’s Summit North (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
Lots of attention being paid to this game this week & not just because of the Titans perfect record. The Broncos after a pair of losses look to return to the win column and grab bragging rights over a rival. In the end it’s the Titans who get their wish as they continue an undefeated season.
Summit Christian at University Academy (Game on Saturday)
It took an Overtime session for someone to beat the SCA Eagles this season. Now Summit Christian has an extra day to prepare to play University Academy. The Eagles will soar to success in this win on the road.
Raytown at Grain Valley
The Raytown Blue Jays have been living well so far in 2018 thanks to a hot quarterback. Grain Valley will present a challenge at home but the Blue Jays will lay claim to victory when this one is through.
Emporia State at N.W. Mo. State (MIAA TV game of the week)
A good matchup for a TV viewing audience this week. The visiting Hornets enter even in league play at 2-2. The Bearcats are a game better in the MIAA at 3-1. The Bearcats will be pushed but in the end they score another conference win in this one.
Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos (By Celebrity Forecaster X-Factor, Ty Rowton)
The Chiefs will see yet again another record breaking performance by starting QB Patrick Mahomes. This time a season high 58 points will help the Chiefs defeat a division rival and remain undefeated at 4-0. For Mahomes it will be his second career win in Denver compared to just one so far in Kansas City.
