Missouri Central Credit Union (MCCU) is excited to announce they have just paid the largest Member Bonus Dividend in their history. Missouri Central Credit Union is a financial cooperative that shares profits with their member/owners. Democratically controlled by a Board of Directors elected by the members of the credit union, MCCU works with their members for maximum efficiencies.
The 2018 Member Bonus Dividend totaled $100,000 and was distributed amongst qualifying members in January 2019. Missouri Central applauds their internal team and MCCU members for working together to make 2018 a great year. This is the 5th consecutive year MCCU has paid out the Member Bonus Dividend. Glenna Jarvis, MCCU President explained it best. “Paying a Member Bonus Dividend after a successful year is the best way we can show our member/owners that Missouri Central Credit Union is different from other financial institutions.”
MCCU determines Member Bonus Dividend allocation on qualifying accounts including loans, Visa credit cards, checking accounts and other deposit accounts.
MCCU believes in partnering with their members through Member Bonus Dividends, attractive savings and loan rates, free checking and additional and/or improved products. Equally important, MCCU gives back to the Lee’s Summit community.
MCCU has also partnered with local non-profits and schools to help make the community a better, more caring place to live. Donations, food and product drives, time spent providing financial education, volunteering and much more are all part of how Missouri Central operates.
Missouri Central supports Hillcrest Transitional Housing, Lee’s Summit Social Services, One Good Meal, Rachel House, Pro Deo, Answering the Call, Lee’s Summit Animal Shelter, and Underwood Elementary. “We are thrilled to be able to support a number of non-profits that do tremendous work in our community,” said Tom Loftus, Vice President and COO.
