Congrats to Raytown South High Student Cara Bray-Howard who was selected as a KC Storyteller Scholar.
As part of the program, Bray-Howard will participate in two writing workshops with students around the metro. KC Storytellers is sponsored by the Greater Kansas City Writing Project through the University of Central Missouri.
Bray-Howard was nominated by Raytown South teacher Megan Willet and selected by a committee from the University of Central Missouri’s Greater Kansas City Writing project.
Bray-Howard will perform her story at a Community Exhibition. The exhibition is free and open to the public on April 6 from 7-9 p.m. at the Center for Spiritual Living located at 1014 W. 39th St, Kansas City, MO 64111.
