KC STEM FEST invites everyone from all ages to come and celebrate science, technology, engineering, and math with fun activities, demonstrations and exhibits. This third annual event will take place on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Union Station in the Sprint Festival Plaza. 2018 KC STEM FEST Video!

This event is admission FREE and open to the public. This family-friendly KC STEM celebration aims to get kids and the community excited about STEM careers and the future. With a critical shortfall in a STEM workforce and with Kansas City being one of the largest engineering, manufacturing and technology workforce in the country, we have a critical need to produce highly-skilled graduates who meet the STEM industry’s workforce needs.

Embrace curiosity and spark your imagination by joining us for this fun-filled afternoon while more than 300 elementary through high school student exhibitors from Frontier Schools, along with our partners and sponsors, share their interactive and educational presentations.

STEM FEST projects include a Solar Car, Rocketry, Robotics, 3D Printed Prosthetic Arm, Hovercraft, Starch Pool, Crime Scene and many more exciting projects.

Partners and Sponsors of the KC STEM FEST include: Frontier Schools (Platinum Sponsor) BioNexus KC (Silver Sponsor), Custom Specialties, Inc. (Silver Sponsor), New Frontier Educational Foundation (Bronze Sponsor), Agriculture Education, KC Chamber of Commerce, Kansas City Zoo, University of Kansas, MINDDRIVE, Science City, Union Station, Truman Medical Center, Henderson Engineers, and the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary.
