Several varsity student-athletes from Raytown South High School earned postseason honors in the sports of baseball and track and field.

Raytown South High School baseball players Chance Moore and Brady Prewitt earned All-State Academic Team honors. Prewitt also earned Second Team All-Conference honors and was selected to play in the Missouri All-Star Game. Raytown South High School baseball player Jovon Ray earned First Team All-Conference honors.

The head coach of the Raytown South High School Baseball team is Jaime Barragan.

Raytown South High School varsity track athletes who placed in the state competition and earned All-State honors include Bri Garth who earned fourth place in the 400m dash, Ciara Corley, who earned fifth place in the high jump, Daetraven Bagby who earned fifth place in the 200m dash and seventh place in the 100m dash, and Abel Monarrez who earned seventh place in the 800m event. Raytown South High track and field relay teams also earned All-State honors, the 4x100m relay team of Dashanae Witherspoon, Amya Milligan, Tachelle Thomas, Nia Shields earned seventh place and the 4x200m relay team of Bri Garth, Dashanae Witherspoon, Amya Milligan, Nia Shields earned eighth place.

The head coach of the Raytown South High School track and field program is Thomas Stueve.
