Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is excited to announce that sophomore Hudson Harris will be starring in the upcoming movie, “The Favorite.” The film stars John Schneider and Tyron Woodley (UFC Welterweight Champion), and is the story of the Bernard brothers, Luke and Benjamin, who both seek to be their father’s favorite son. After a tragic accident, one brother fights for his life and everyone is left praying for a miracle. In the end, the family finds both physical and spiritual renewal.

Hudson plays young Luke in the film. Hudson had his first introduction to acting at the age of eight at the Annie Moses Summer Music Festival in Tennessee, and has been active at SCA in theater productions and choir. In addition to singing and acting, he plays the piano and guitar and is on the praise and worship team at SCA.

“The Favorite” will be released nationwide September 13th and will be shown at the Lee’s Summit 16 B&B Theatre. Increased demand and awareness will bring the film to more theaters; tickets are available for pre-sale now on the B&B Theatre website.
