Band, choir, and orchestra students from Raytown High School participated in the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) State Music Contest for solos and ensembles in Columbia, Missouri.

Raytown High School band students who earned a gold medal for their solos include Caleb Nading, snare drum; David Sevart, French horn; and Miles Clemons, piano.

Raytown High School band students who earned a silver medal for their solos include Natalya Ferbet, alto saxophone; Javien Hubbard, snare drum; and Logan Oehring, trumpet.

The Raytown High School band program is under the direction of Joseph Hill, Mike Doney, and Tyler Rick.

Raytown High School choir students who earned a gold medal for their vocal solos include Kaleb Clemmons, Logan Oehring, Karlee Etter, Tuesday Scanlon, and Kyle Baker.

Raytown High School choir students who earned a gold medal for their ensemble include the Camerata Men’s Double Quartet of Dakota Humphress, Joshua McCarroll, Jason Meyer, Jack McClung, Zion Noble, Logan Oehring, Kaleb Clemmons, and Kyle Baker.

Raytown High School choir students who earned a silver medal for their solos include Destiny Tillman, Jason Meyer, Judson Hulme, Emma Hill, Nahrya Williams, and Lindsey Mahan.

Raytown High School choir students who earned a silver medal for their ensemble include the Camerata Women’s Sextet of Carlyn Carpenter, Destiny Tillman, Olivia Villa, Emma Hill, Tuesday Scanlon and Lindsey Mahan.

Raytown High School choir students who earned a bronze medal for their solos include Olivia Villa, Gabrielle Fiene, and Justin Wood.

The Raytown High School vocal music program is under the direction of Alex Kolster and accompanist Brenda Yeates.

Raytown High School orchestra students who earned a gold medal for their solos include Anna Ryan, violin; and Abby Meyer, violin.

Raytown High School orchestra students who earned a silver medal for their solos include Anna Ryan, viola; and Alena Harper, cello. Raytown High School orchestra students who earned a silver medal for their ensembles include the string duet of Abby Meyer and Jason Meyer and the string trio of Abby Meyer, Anna Ryan, and Alena Harper also earned a silver medal.

Raytown High School orchestra student Darra Harper received a bronze medal for her viola solo.

The Raytown High School orchestra program is under the direction of Amy Sadler.
