The Jacomo Chorale will present “Making Spirits Bright” a concert of Christmas music on Friday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at Mission Woods Community of Christ, 2800 NW Duncan Rd, Blue Springs. The concert will be repeated on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at The Groves, 1515 W. White Oak, Independence.

The concert includes traditional Christmas music as well as newer pieces, including compositions by local composer Nathan Smith. Free admission, donations accepted.

The Chorale, directed by Dr. Helena Vasconcellos and accompanied by Michelle Proen, is a 501 c(3) organization, presenting music from Broadway to classical music for Eastern Jackson County audiences.
