
Kimberly Draisey, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully the morning of Tuesday, March 4, 2025, joining her late husband, Kenny, in eternal rest. Kimberly’s life was a testament of the love and simple pleasures that make life beautiful.
She was born Monday, May 24, 1965 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Otto Jenkins and the late Sallie Jenkins. Kimberly’s heart was as big as her love for her family, which included her cherished pack of Pomeranians, with Sassy and Lucky holding special places in her heart. Her home was always filled with the barks of her furry companions, who brought her endless happiness. A true lover of music and dance, Kimberly’s spirit was always in motion. She was known for teaching her children the best line dances, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Kimberly’s greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She loved them deeply and unconditionally. Kimberly Draisey will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to dance in the hearts of her loved ones. May she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Kenny.
Surviving are one son, David (Amanda) Jenkins of Warrensburg, MO; two daughters, Julie Ray of Kansas City, MO and Shelia Gibson of Higginsville, MO; one brother, Corey (Amber) Jenkins of Lee’s Summit, MO; three grandchildren, Ethan Jenkins, Kylie Gibson, Andres’ Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenny Draisey; one brother, Brian Jenkins.
