William Dale Rife, Jr. was born September 21, 1962. He died February 20, 2025 surrounded by his family and friends, following a fall and head injury.

Dale grew up in Lee’s Summit and Greenwood, Missouri. He was a Lee’s Summit High School graduate. He achieved success in his career with AT&T, and he was proud of those accomplishments.

His greatest joy came from the relationships he built with his family and friends. He loved spending time with them hunting, fishing, attending Royals and Chiefs events, and often just hanging out. He always had a story to tell or a prank to play on those close to him.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Dale Rife, Sr.; in-laws, Pat and Joe Cary; and sister-in-law, Julie. He is survived by his wife, Tammy; son, Joshua (Felicity); daughter Madison; granddaughter Adalynn; sister Melody Welt (Dane); mother and stepfather, Betty and Keith Hallier; brother-in-law Danny Cary (Susan); stepbrothers, stepsisters, aunts, uncles, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends who became family.

Dale laughed frequently and loved dearly. He will remain forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life service will be held March 5, 2025 in the Abundant Life Church Administrative Building, 414 SW Persels Road, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Visitation 10:30-11 a.m. Service 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
