Third Street Social is located in the historic Arnold Hall located on Third Street. Because the building is on the National Historic Register, Andy and Domhnall were limited in how they could transform the structure. But with an excellent concept, the blessing of city leaders, and the oversight of the Historic Preservation Commission, they crafted the 7000 square foot space into a dining destination in a style Andy calls “rustic elegance.”

“We wanted a place where people could come dine in T-shirts and shorts or jacket and tie and feel comfortable,” Andy explains. And while there’s a bar, it’s not necessarily a bar atmosphere. “It’s a restaurant . . . with a bar, not a bar that serves food.”

While the atmosphere is upscale, the food is delicious and affordable! Everything is made daily from scratch. The lunch menu offers casual meals such as burgers, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken sandwich, and features Blue-Plate specials with lunch-size portions.

Dinner options range from house-smoked salmon and stacked pastrami sandwich to fresh Texas redfish, hand cut USDA Prime flat iron steak, or a Tomahawk ribeye for two. Their burgers and chicken potpies are quickly becoming guest favorites!

Nicollette Foster, pastry chef, creates Third Street Social’s delectable desserts that include such offerings as chocolate mousse cake, blueberry hand pies, apple pie, and the popular phyllo-wrapped brownie. Your wait staff will ensure that you see them up close before you make your selection!

Happy Hour occurs daily from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. featuring food specials, three dollar draft beer, and six dollar signature cocktails such as the Truman Old Fashioned or the Blood Orange Margarita. Enjoy your selections at the 25-seat copper-top bar as you watch the game on embedded big screen HDTVs.

Beginning July 30, brunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Selections from the lunch menu will be available along with breakfast favorites like Belgian waffles and eggs benedict.
Current hours of operation for lunch and dinner are Monday – Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from
