Public Open House Meetings for Rock Island Bicycle and Pedestrian Path

Join the Rock Island Rail Corridor Authority (RIRCA) of Jackson County, Missouri and the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) for a series of public open house meetings to learn about the design and development plans for the Rock Island Bicycle and Pedestrian Path Project.

The Rock Island Corridor stretches 17.7 miles from Arrowhead and Kauffman Stadiums south through Raytown and into Lee’s Summit. Part of the corridor will be transformed into a bicycle and pedestrian path with a focus on preserving the corridor’s integrity as part of the national rail network. Attend a meeting to ask questions about the project.

All meetings will be held from 5:30–7 p.m.
