If you missed our November escape room, you have a second chance. The Lone Jack Historical Society again is planning another truly unique, interactive fundraising event for the last three weekends in April.

For a limited time in April, gather your friends to step back to Civil War times in eastern Jackson County. The year is 1862.

Imagine that Confederate forces have established clandestine recruiting camps in the area. The Union forces must get vital intelligence to deal with this intrusion. A loyal Union spy has gathered this critical information and has hidden it somewhere in the Cave Hotel. As loyal unionists posing as travelers, you must find this critical information and pass it along to military headquarters.

But, the prying eyes of hotel proprietress Lucinda Cave, a southern sympathizer, are watching. She suspects something is amiss. You will need to find the information and leave or face the wrath of William Quantrell. Can you solve the puzzles in time to escape before Bill arrives?

Visit our website for Escape Room reservation and pricing information, www.historiclonejack.org. Adventurers 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

The all-volunteer Lone Jack Historical Society is the sole manager for day-to-day operations of the museum. Help us keep the doors open. Donations are always greatly appreciated. For more information call the museum at 816-697-8833 or visit our website.
