I want to thank the residents of District 1 in Lee’s Summit for allowing me to serve them, and the entire Lee’s Summit community for the past four years. I have enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful people and am proud to have been a part of so many wonderful activities and projects.

I am running for re-election as I believe I can continue to help make positive and necessary progress in the growth and development of our community. Over the past four years so we have seen so much change with regards to road development and improvement, to business and residential growth. My voting record will show that I care very much about the responsible distribution of resources made available to the city by YOU the taxpayers. I think the continued development and incentives to bring businesses and jobs to Lee’s Summit is very important, as is updating and creating new infrastructure to support that growth. I do believe our resources need to be allocated in a fair and fiscally responsible manner so as not to put our city in any financially harmful position as so many other communities have fallen into. My work with the finance and budget committee, and the Community Economic Development committee among many others has given me the experience and the first hand look at where we have been, where we are going, and what is needed to get there.

The reason listed above are why I am asking you to vote on April 3rd for me to serve as your District 1 Councilperson. I love Lee’s Summit, and I am humbled that you have chosen me in the past and I ask you to allow me to continue the work we have begun.
