Students in the Life Skills program at Lee’s Summit North High School hosted the grand opening of the Crimson Cafe and Gallery this week. Functioning as a coffee shop and gallery, the cafe is open for students and staff during the day.

Students in the Life Skills program will manage and operate the cafe and gallery as a project geared toward service and collaboration with students throughout the school.

Teachers Brooke Green, Lindsay Beachner, and Jessica Stueve were awarded a grant from the Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation to open the student-run cafe and gallery.
