September is suicide awareness month and Team Fidelis is presenting the Base 2 Fort Run.

According to the most recent Department of Veterans Affairs report, we lose approximately 20 veterans a day to suicide. What is even more concerning is that 14 of those 20 are not accessing VA services at the time of their death.

In an effort to raise awareness for this epidemic and suicide awareness as a whole, team member, Joshua Jorgensen will run 100+ miles while wearing a gas mask from Whiteman Air Force Base passing through Kansas City on his way to finish at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.

Team Fidelis is a local 501(c)3, nonprofit organization that is 100% volunteer led whose mission is to end the epidemic of veteran suicide by raising Awareness, providing a bridge of Hope and building Camaraderie between veterans and their community.
