Summit Christian Academy (SCA) recently celebrated 44 Reader Leaders in grades first through sixth. These students took time from their summer to read a book from an approved list and completed a written summary and/or visual tool for the novel that they read.

“I like to always tell the students that those who read, lead,” shared SCA Elementary Principal Mrs. Charissa Sanders. “I look forward to watching these students continue to lead at SCA and beyond.”

The reader leaders were celebrated during a special outdoor luncheon with SCA Elementary Principal Mrs. Sanders. This is the ninth year SCA has honored students through the Reader Leader program.
