Lee’s Summit North  at  Lee’s Summit (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
A rivalry game here that many in the area have been looking forward to for weeks. Both teams enter at 4-2 and coming in off from victories. LS North was impressive in knocking off rival LS West at home last week. The Tigers have shown what a tough defense can do to earn a win. Too many weapons by North will make the difference in a Broncos victory.
Liberty at Lee’s Summit West (Pub Pick of the week)
After a season opening loss to Lee’s Summit Liberty has played well and seen a better offensive performance each week. QB Alex Roush led the Blue Jays to a high scoring win over Lee’s Summit North earlier in the year but will find this trip to Lee’s Summit a bit rough as the Titans return to the win column on this night.
Pierce City at St. Michael
The Guardians have flipped a switch and have rattled off 3 consecutive wins after starting the year 0-3. St. Micheal has scored 140 points in those 3 wins. Pierce City will provide a test but this is another one that the Guardians will pass for another win.
Van Horn at Summit Christian Academy
A difficult game to forecast as both teams enter the week at 5-1. Both teams also possess a high scoring offensive unit. Expect a lot of yards gained in this one with lots of scoring. A turnover will probably prove to be the difference & that’s why the Falcons will beat the Eagles in a key Crossroads Conference match up.
Fort Osage at Raytown (Wild Card game of the week)
The Raytown Blue Jays offense is on quite a roll right now and that will be tested by a stiff Indians Defense. A number of injuries have hurt Fort Osage the past 3 weeks & will do so again in a Blue Jay win in this one.
Liberty North at Blue Springs
Get set for an entertaining battle if your heading out the door to see this one on Friday night. Liberty North comes in at 3-3 but the host Wildcats winners of 3 straight enter at 4-2. A close one here ends with a Blue Springs victory.
Mo. Western at Mo. Southern (MIAA TV Game of the week)
The Griffons at 3-2 travel south to meet the troubled Lions of Mo. Southern for this week’s TV game of the week. The Lions are winless at 0-5 and have already seen their head coach resign. Expect the Griffons to roar over the Lions in this one.
Jacksonville at KC Chiefs
Been a short week for the Chiefs coming off from a huge road win at division Rival Denver on Monday night. The Chiefs at 4-0 will attempt to keep a perfect record going as they face the #1 defense in the Jaguars. The Jags come to KC at 3-1 and led by QB Blake Bortles. In the end the Chiefs will show how much difference a home crowd can make along with a deeper bench as they take a home win over the Jaguars.
