Heart of America Youth Ballet under the tutelage of Artistice Director and Founder, Cynthia Monaco, is proud to present their original ballet, Alice in Wonderland, at the Folly Theater on November 9th and 10th. This youth ballet consists of 22 serious ballet dancers, ages 14-18 years of age, that make their home at Heart of America Dance Centre located in the historic district of Lee’s Summit, Missouri

The ballet has turned the magical odyssey of Alice, into a ballet, where the White Rabbit, runs on her tip toes, while Alice waltzes after him. The Queen of Hearts will dance a pas de deux with the King of Hearts, and the Cheshire Cat is seen leaping across the stage. With amazing choreography, scenery, costumes and lighting this ballet will entertain audiences of all ages.
