In my opinion, voting is the single most important method for citizens to voice their opinion in our Country. November 6th is election day!

The City does not have any items on the ballot this election cycle but that doesn’t make this election any less important. There are a multitude of County and State questions being asked, and several important Federal races as well. Historically, non-Presidential elections traditionally have a lower turnout. Let’s do our best to reverse that trend!

If you are interested in reviewing a sample ballot, you can visit the Jackson County Election Board website at https://www.jcebmo.org/ . You can also find your polling station and review your voter registration information.

Please take the time to vote on Tuesday, November 6th.

Also, the City has completed two major road improvement projects this year. If you would like to see where your tax dollars were spent, there is a short video we filmed with a drone that flies over the completed improvements. This fly-over-video can be viewed at http://lakelotawana.org.

If you have a topic you would like me to cover in a future News article, please drop me a note!
