ReDiscover invites Kansas City to join them for Take a Bite Out of Stigma: A Culinary Experience on Friday, November 2nd at The Marriott Downtown. During this fundraiser more than 400 food-loving guests will enjoy cocktails and bites from Kansas City’s finest restaurants. This event serves as an opportunity to raise mental health awareness and understanding, diminish stigma, and provide important resources to those in need.

While sipping and tasting the best our city has to offer, guests will be entertained with a live art performance by VisionSoul and have an opportunity to check out a large selection of live and silent auction items. This special evening will feature music and dancing along with the engaging talents of emcee Mark Alford, Fox 4 News Anchor.

Individual tickets for Take a Bite Out of Stigma: A Culinary Experience are $125. Tables of ten are available for $1,750 and include admission to the VIP lounge, valet parking and name recognition before and during event. One hundred percent of the net proceeds raised from Take a Bite Out of Stigma: A Culinary Experience will be used to support ReDiscover’s many programs which provide mental health and substance use disorder services to more than 30,000 people in need. Since its inception in 1969, ReDiscover has helped hundreds of thousands of people remain or re-engage as stable, productive members of the community.

ReDiscover, a nonprofit community behavioral health clinic, provides comprehensive programs and services for men, women and children whose lives have been affected by mental illness and/or substance use disorders. ReDiscover helps a broad range of individuals and families, including those with limited financial means or without insurance.
