The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce is highlighting the spirit of entrepreneurship by hosting its annual Breakfast for Champions on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. The event is from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Missouri Innovation Campus, 1101 NW Innovation Pkwy., and is open to the public.

This year’s event will feature Josh Rowland, CEO and Vice Chairman of Lead Bank. Rowland serves in multiple management roles at the bank, including the bank’s Executive Committee, Loan Committee, and oversight of the marketing and technology functions. As a 2018 Mr. KC Small Business of the Year Winner, Josh is also on the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce board.

In addition, attendees will hear a presentation with updates from Velocity Lee’s Summit. Velocity provides entrepreneurial resources and programming to local startups and business owners. “Entrepreneurship and tech innovation are huge elements in today’s business ecosystem and it’s exciting to see the support and resources our local entrepreneurs are receiving,” said Matt Baird, director of business and governmental relations.
