The Lee’s Summit Lions Club participated in the Veterans Day parade. Riding in the Club’s trailer is Lion Paul Watts’ granddaughter, Athena Hoffman; Lion Paul Watts; Lions Gary Hoffman and Conrad Jones. Also participating were Lions Voyn Breashears; Shane McCray; Bob Hayter; Kirby Vanatta and President Michael Delacour. Although it was very cold, all had fun. The Club wanted to say thanks to all the Veterans that sacrificed their lives and to those who served. And thanks to the VFW for the ham and beans, cornbread, cake and good coffee.
