The holiday season is officially in full swing in Lee’s Summit.

Nearly 5,000 people came out on Friday, Nov. 16th to see Lee’s Summit Mayor Bill Baird and “It’s A Wonderful Life” actress Karolyn “Zuzu” Grimes light the Mayor’s Christmas Tree.

More than 1,500 cyclists rode in the Fifth Annual Trip the Light Fantastic Bike Ride through Christmas in the Park on Tuesday, Nov. 20th.
