The First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit is offering the community Christmas Day Dinner.

Volunteers are serving free dinner for those who otherwise might spend Christmas alone. Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, roll and dessert served by many church members, and a few community friends is a tradition now in its 17th year.

For reservations for either dining in or meal delivery to the home bound, contact the church office at 816-525-0700 by Friday, December 21.

The Christmas Day Dinner is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 25 in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit at 2 NE Douglas St.
