Megan Breedlove, Family Service Counselor, of Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery recently accepted a check for $100 dollars from Lion treasure Kirby Vanatta and Lion secretary Bob Hayter. The money is to offset the cost of the live wreaths that will be laid on the graves of Veterans buried at the cemetery on December 15th 2018 at 11 a.m.

The live wreaths are in honor of living veterans and in memory of those who have passed. The cemetery is located at 12700 SE Raytown Rd. in Kansas City. This day there will be wreaths-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery as well as at more than 1,500 locations throughout all U.S. states, at sea and abroad. Other cemetery’s that have veterans buried can participate.
