The Jacomo Chorale, founded in 1983, is currently accepting new members. The Chorale, directed by Dr. Helena Vasconcellos, performs a variety of music, from popular, to sacred to Broadway. Concerts are presented three times a year in various Eastern Jackson County locations. The non-auditioned choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7-9 p.m. at Mission Woods Community of Christ, 2800 NW Duncan Road, Blue Springs. Open rehearsals will be January 17, 24 and 31.
