For over 20 years, One Good Meal has been delivering meals to Lee’s Summit shut-ins, handicapped and the elderly every day Monday through Friday. At the Raspberry Spring Expo at the Pavilion at John Knox Village on March 8th and 9th, the community can visit their booth to learn more, buy some baked goods, and support their meal program.

The Raspberry Spring Expo is organized and managed by IBD Promotions. Owners, Keith and Wanda Davenport, are longtime residents of eastern Jackson County and members of several local artist coalitions. They have been promoting Fall Harvest Holiday Art & Craft Show at the Pavilion for eight years and recently acquired the rights to promote three other art and craft shows annually. They are committed to supporting local charities and each show will benefit a not-for-profit organization. The recipient for the Raspberry Spring Expo is One Good Meal.

Volunteers at One Good Meal prepare and deliver almost 150 meals a day to those in need and have been since 1995. One Good Meal is grateful to HyVee for providing the main dish and vegetables and to volunteers who bake a desert to complete this mid-day meal.

At the Raspberry Spring Expo, One Good Meal will be having a bake sale with cupcakes, pies, and other goodies to raise money for their program. Visit their website to learn more: https://www.onegoodmeal.org/.

The Raspberry Spring Expo will have over 100 vendors featuring home decor, lawn & garden, health & wellness, quilt & wood products, art & crafts. Show hours are Friday, March 8th, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Pavilion at John Knox Village located at 520 NW Murray Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO. Come and thank Roberta McArthur and the volunteers who help One Good Meal.
