At its March 14, 2019, meeting, the Lee’s Summit R-7 Board of Education voted to extend Superintendent Dennis Carpenter’s contract for one year. The extension agreement has now been signed, and extends Dr. Carpenter’s employment through the 2020-2021 school year.
