The Raytown Three Trails Kiwanis Club recently awarded $10,000 in grants to 7 nonprofit organizations and schools serving children and families in the Raytown community. These grants were made possible through the club’s annual fundraising activities, the Kiwanis-Hall of Fame Alumni-Joe Herndon Golf Tournament and the Craft Beer Festival of the Lost Township.

Boys & Girls Club Thornberry Unit – Project Learn Educational Enhancement Program; Jackson County CASA – Enrichment Assistance for Foster Youth; Raytown Main Street Association – Egg-Extravaganza; Raytown Summer Lunch Ministry – Summer Lunch Program; REAP – Utility and Rental Assistance; Raytown Christian Church – Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree, Enhancing Education Summer Learning; and Raytown Quality Schools – Northwood – Conscious Discipline Curriculum, Community Connections Family Resource Fair, Social Work Department – Lending Library, Parents As Teachers – Family Events & Diapers.
