Hogan Stoker of Lee’s Summit West High School recently became the District Singles Champion and a Sectional State Qualifier in boys tennis.

He defeated Tyler Gayman of Waynesville 6-0, 6-0 to advance to state for the second year in a row. Hogan said, “He is ecstatic about going to State for the second year in a row and has a goal to be all state this year.”

Paul Klene, head tennis coach at LSW said,”I can think of no other more deserving athlete to qualify for State in singles for the second year in a row. Hogan is a hard worker and a good example for his teammates to follow.”
