Front entrance of the Police Department and Courts at Lee’s Summit, are reopened and business is operating as usual. No further information regarding the suspect or his intent this morning.

Lee’s Summit, MO – May 20, 2019 – On 5/20/2019 just after 6am, Officers were dispatch to the front lobby of Police Headquarters, 10 NE Tudor Rd. in regard to a vehicle that had crashed into the front of the building. 

One subject was taken into custody and the investigation continues into the cause of the incident. 

The front entrance of the Police Department and Courts are currently closed until further notice, while we determine if the structure is safe.
