On May 14 2019 the Lee’s Summit Lions Club met at the Perkins Restaurant and at that meeting their guest Speaker was PDG Greg Gilliam who presented to the Club Information on the Foundation which has been in existence for 100 years.

During the past 100 years they have granted 118 million dollars toward disaster relief; 16 million to children and youth served by Lions Quest and 415 million to Sight First, they also have provided measles vaccinations for more than 87 million children worldwide and improved or restored sight to 30 million people. The Foundation is doing “Champaign 100” with a goal of raising 300 million dollars.
