Raytown, MO– At about 11:50 P.M., Thursday night (July 18, 2019) Raytown Police Officers were called to the area of 8400 block of Elm regarding a person that had been shot.

Upon the officers’ arrival, they located a man inside the home who had suffered a gunshot wound. The man’s identity has not been released at this time. One person has been taken into custody in regard to the incident.
Police continue to investigate.
