The Speech and Theatre Association has presented Lee’s Summit West High School Principal Dr. Chad Hertzog with the Missouri’s Administrator of the Year Award. Dr. Hertzog was honored on Sept. 20 at the Tan-Tar-A resort at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Dr. Hertzog was chosen for this award out of all of the administrators and activities directors in the state. His nominators, Matt Good, Micah Hensley, and Brad Rackers, spoke of Dr. Hertzog’s dedication to the school, the students, and especially to the arts of speech, debate, and theatre at the awards ceremony.

Dr. Hertzog is the first principal or activities director in the Lee’s Summit R-7 school district to win this award. The district congratulates him on this award and thanks him for his continued support of the arts in LSR7.
