The Kansas City Chiefs today finished up preparation for Sunday night’s game against Green Bay.

The Chiefs after practice revealed a list of players ruled out for the game. OT Eric Fisher, DT Chris Jones, DE Frank Clark, CB Kendrick Fuller and OG Andrew Wylie. QB Pat Mahomes has been a limited participant in practice this week but will also miss the game.

KC Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid says of Mahomes “He needs a little bit of time”. Overall Reid likes what he saw from his team this week “Team had a good week of practice”. 

The Chiefs defense has the challenge of facing Packers QB Aaron Rodgers who Reid calls “A heck of a player”. The Packers come to KC on a three game winning streak and overall stand at 6-1. Reid adds “Rodgers has a good feel of the offense, has good players around him”. 


Chiefs safety Daniel Sorenson who wears jersey #49 called the Packers “a great franchise”. Sorenson feels the Packers are “Playing at a high level”. Regarding playing the Packers. a franchise with plenty of NFL history, in prime time “a great match up, play best of the best”. The Chiefs (5-2) in first place of the AFC West division host the NFC North leading Packers (6-1) at 7:20 p.m. Sunday night on NBC TV.
