ReHope Market & Café will celebrate their grand opening on Nov. 16, complete with food and beverage samples, games and prizes, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The café directly supports Restoration House of Greater Kansas City, an organization providing programs and services for adult women and minor girl survivors of human trafficking. In fact, the space that has been converted to the café was previously used as Restoration House’s office space.

“We want everyone who comes in to feel connected to the cause,” says Leanne Boll, assistant manager of ReHope.

Now, it features a counter serving coffee from The Roasterie, group seating, a patio and even a conference room that can be reserved for private events. In addition to coffee, the café serves smoothies and teas, pastries and breakfast sandwiches, light lunch items and baked goods.

ReHope is located at 808 W. Main Street and is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Boll says the community has been very welcoming.

“The community has been really supportive,” she says. “It fills a void and everyone’s excited to have a coffee house.”

All are invited to the grand opening celebration on Saturday, Nov. 16, between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
