Nov. 16, 2019

Two fundraising events are planned in November and December to benefit Michelle Geib in her battle with breast cancer.

The first will be on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Vertigo Bar & Grill located at 625 N.W. Mock Ave. in Blue Springs and will feature legendary blues man D.C. Bellamy.

There will be a 50/50 drawing, silent auction, live music, fun and friendship.

On Friday, Dec. 6 there will be a Kubotan Self-Defense Seminar from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Tamashii Black Belt Academy located at 3680 N.E. Akin Drive #130 in Lee’s Summit.

Learn some amazing self-defense techniques, safety tips and kick a little ass with this fundraiser for Michelle. A suggested donation of $20 will get you the three-hour seminar and a free Kubotan. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to ensure that all participants receive a Kubotan. Visit sparkpages.io/?=4xe to register.

At both events there will be a prize for the craziest male and female dressed up in pink. There will also be t-shirts available for $20 to show your support.

If you want to support Michelle Geib but are unable to attend the fundraisers you may mail a check made payable to Michelle Geib to: Tamashii Black Belt Academy, 3680 NE Akin Dr, Ste 130, Lees Summit, Missouri 64064. The t-shirts are also available at the academy.
