Education: I am a graduate of Raytown High School. I attended Rockhurst College where I achieved a Facilities Management Administrator designation. I have also achieved an Environmental Professional Designation through multiple environmental training programs.

Occupation: President of Selective Construction Services, LLC, a full-service demolition company.

Experience: Planning Commission, the Community Economic Development Committee, the Historical Preservation Committee, and I am a committee member to the City of Lee’s Summit’s Ignite! Strategic Plan.

Time Lived in Lee’s Summit: 26 years. 1 year in District 4.

Conflicts of Interest: None.

Why I’m Running: Lee’s Summit is a dynamic city with a small-town feel. I love everything about it. I’ve spent many years serving the city in different ways, and I am ready to take my leadership skills and knowledge to the next level. Before the COVID-19 crisis hit our nation, our city already had many critical decisions ahead of it with 4,000 acres of PRI land coming available to it. We have infrastructure concerns and more conversations to be had around our public safety workers’ livelihood. As we stare down the barrel of an economic downturn, budget shortfalls, major changes in our school district and how we educate our children, and varying levels of uncertainty in almost everything we do, we must be able to turn to strong, decisive leaders who will communicate effectively with the public. I believe I possess those qualities and will know the right questions to ask in order to get things done for the citizens.
