St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lee’s Summit, Missouri has called Father Tim Coppinger as their new Rector. Father Coppinger hails from Ozark Missouri, where he was the Priest-in-Charge and Ministry Developer for the Episcopal Churches of the Ozarks Regional Ministry for eight years.
Father Tim graduated from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania in May, 1997 and has been a life-long member of the Diocese of West Missouri.
Father Tim is happy to be coming to St. Paul’s and plans to make his home here in the Lee’s Summit area. He is really looking forward to being involved in the downtown Lee’s Summit community. Father Tim was intrigued with the small-town feel of Lee’s Summit even though it is a city of nearly 100,000 people. He looks forward to becoming a community partner.
The parishioners of St. Paul’s are thrilled to have a new Rector, as it has been months since the former Rector left. A few parishioners have even suggested doing cartwheels in celebration of the good news.
If you are looking for reverent and relevant worship with beautiful music please come visit St. Paul’s. You will be welcomed in this small but mighty community of believers.
