Greenwood Witch Hat Wednesday
Greenwood, Missouri merchants once again offered their downtown shops for a fun pre-Halloween shopping extravaganza along Main Street on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Witch Hat Wednesday business participants included: Greenwood Mercantile, Greenwood Vintage Market, Big Creek Antique Mall, As Time Goes By, and Wound for Sound. Close in proximity, the businesses allow customers the convenience of starting in any shop and continuing whichever direction they wish to get potions, cackles, treats and more!

Many of the shoppers chose to make it a big night out! Others strolled through casually in their street clothes.

Chef Aristo’s Curbside and Catering was situated in the parking lot of As Time Goes By, while Greenwood Mercantile featured a fortune teller revealing mysterious futures in a delightfully fun fashion. Various free gifts were offered to customers including decorated brooms; witch punch cards for each shop allowed the witchy crews to go in on some exciting drawings.

Rumor has it that both Greenwood Vintage and As Time Goes By will be featured in HGTV’s fall “Bargain Mansions” episode.

Greenwood is packed with fall activities for those with a flair for some old fashioned, ghouling fun!
