On November 21, 2022, seven members of the Lee’s Summit Lions was invited and attended the luncheon along with approximately 30 others from the Lees Summit area not-for-profit groups.

The Luncheon was hosted and held at Unity Village under the direction of attorney Carl Chinnery, program emcee Mayor of Lee’s Summit Bill Baird. The group was welcomed and gave the daily word by David Vest, CEO and Mayor of Unity Village.

Each group was allowed three minutes to stand and tell the rest of the groups about their organization and their contribution to the community. The theme was Peace, Service and Unity to partner together to make Lee’s Summit a beacon of peace, prosperity and unity.

The cost of the luncheon was covered by those in attendance.
