A special presentation showcasing the History Museum’s quilt collection will be held on Friday, April 14th at 6:30 p.m. at the museum. Members and guests are welcome to this free event. Information on these quilts, some dating back to the 1800s, will be shared by Peggy Veasman and Sue Elissawy.

The History Museum is located at 220 SW Main Street in Downtown Lee’s Summit.

Beginning April 1st through December 31st the History Museum’s regular hours are Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free for members and children 12 and younger. For all others the admission fee of $5 supports the ongoing operation of the Lee’s Summit History Museum.
