Students from Monica’s School of Dance recently competed at the Showstopper Regional Dance Competition held at the KCI Expo Center.

There were over 1,200 entries for the three day event. Monica Renwick (Owner and Choreographer) brought 65 routines which all placed in the top 10 or Top Overall of each of their divisions.

Monica said,” I am so proud of my students and teachers! This was a huge competition with exceptional talent that we were competing against.

The Showstopper Competition has been known as the most professional and prestigious dance competition for 45 years.” Monica and her husband Mike Coupe have six dance teams and are planning to add a seventh this fall.

The ages of the team dancers range from 4 to 18. This July we will be competing in Florida for the National Showstopper Competition. We will be competing against the “Best of the Best.”
