Upon first glimpse of its striking Mediterranean architecture, anyone passing by may want to learn more about Unity Village. For over 100 years, Unity Village has stood as an icon of the region, now with an award-winning hotel and conference center, three historic Airbnb properties, 1,200 wooded acres, beautiful fountains, nature trails, a golf course, and buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
A few of the amenities at Unity Village are open to the public, but most spaces require a reservation.
Open to the Public
The Fillmore Café offers visitors a warm, relaxing spot to gather and enjoy good coffee and other treats. Open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Unity Gifts & Books offers a variety of unique gifts, books, and local products. Open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays.
With abundant wildlife, the 2.4-mile Carl L. Chinnery Nature Trail winds past a natural bridge through beautiful forests. This easy-to-moderate trail is open dawn to dusk.
The central courtyard features the largest fountain installation in the Kansas City area, the Venetian-inspired Bridge of Faith, an accredited rose garden, large paver labyrinth, and peaceful sculpture garden. The courtyard may be closed to visitors when it is reserved for a wedding or other special event. This area is also closed to pets, bicycles, skateboards, and motorized vehicles.
The par 36 nine-hole golf course is nestled in a natural wooded setting and includes a driving range. The course is open to the public and offers some of the most affordable rates in the area. The Clubhouse offers beer, wine, spirits, and snacks.

From corporate meetings to weddings and receptions, to sacred services and memorials,
Unity Village has hosted thousands of events for people of all faiths and backgrounds. Many indoor and outdoor space options are available for groups of up to 300.
The award-winning Unity Village Hotel and Conference Center features plush beds, fine linens, and free Wi-Fi access. Guests enjoy complimentary coffee and hot breakfast each morning in the beautifully appointed lobby or the tranquil outdoor garden, in addition to access to a 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center.
Three historic English Cotswold-style homes have been renovated with modern conveniences. Fillmore Manor, Hummingbird Vista, and Hummingbird Chateau are available on Airbnb.com for groups of 10 to 14.
Several small and mid-size businesses have offices on the Unity Village campus, so most of the buildings have limited public access.

Also note city road construction has blocked the Colbern Road entrance, so please access Unity Village through the main entrance on NE Blue Parkway. Road signs should help guide the way.
